Fly High General Mayhem
This little guy entered the Tulare Animal Shelter as a stray. Overwhelmed, the shelter reached out to Grandma Betty’s asking for help.
So, we found a wonderful temporary foster in the area until we could find a way to get this beautiful boy to San Diego.
After a week of looking, we got a reply from Pilot Kim with Pilots n Paws, a non profit that facilitates the transportation of rescued animals by connecting volunteer pilots with organizations like ours.
An AMAZING resource, they offered to fly him down to San Diego and into the arms of his new owner, Michelle.
Michelle, a past GB adopter and lifelong Great Pyrenees rescue owner, recently lost her big girl to cancer.
Needless to say, she was overjoyed giving another rescue pup a forever home.
Named “Deuce” in the shelter, he has been renamed “GENERAL JAKE MAYHEM”. Too cute.
Thank you, Pilots n Paws, for your service, Michelle for being an amazing rescue-mom, and General Mayhem for giving Grandma Betty a reason to keep doing, what we are doing…
